The OMMA was established to oversee the medical marijuana program for the State of Oklahoma. It is responsible for licensing, regulating, and administering the program as authorized by state law. Operating under the Oklahoma State Department of Health, the primary goal is to ensure safe and responsible practices for the people of Oklahoma.
The state does not require background checks or state agent cards however, to work with Highlite Staffing, employees must complete a background check and have either 6 months experience or certificate of completion from an approved cannabis education platform (such as Cannabis Community College, Oaksterdam University, Sativa Universtity or Hemp Staff).
None have been required by the state which currently only requires monthly reports.
